Damario Johnson

Hello pioneer family, I am Coach Johnson I have been with the ECBA program coaching for about four years now. I graduated from Kent-Meridian high school. Where I was a two sport athlete football and basketball. My coaching style is very assertive and passionate due to my love for the game. Talk a lot about consistency and mental toughness. You can’t cheat the grind, what you put in is what you’ll get back. My passion obviously comes from playing at young age into my early twenties, But in 2018 I was shot and paralyzed. Because of that life changing experience I always wondered how I could stay connected to the game of basketball. That’s when the opportunity to Coach with ECBA presented itself and I jumped at it. I’m just here to instill life long values into the kids that will help on and off the court and well into their future. Also building a brotherhood and family environment.
