Kofi Adusei

Our Director Kofi Adusei was born in Brooklyn, New York. He played for Jamesville-Dewitt HS in Syracuse, NY. There he played 3 years of Varsity (2009-2011) and won 3 state titles. Jamesville-Dewitt was ranked number 1 in the state during that time and top 20 in the country in 2010. He then played at Tompkins-Cortland CC for two years before transferring to Daemon College for his junior year. Injuries ended his college basketball career early. He has professional basketball experience in both NY and Washington. He moved to Washington in 2017 and has played in the Crawsover Pro-Am and played with and against multiple professionals including NBA and overseas talent. Kofi has been coaching at ECBA since 2018 and became our director in 2024.

He is a father of one, his daughter Kiara. He’s a true New Yorker as he roots for the Giants, Knicks and Yankees.

Kofi loves to serve and be of help to our young aspiring athletes. His passion for the game and our the growth of our ECBA athletes drives him. “Be great today”
