Nirae Petty

Nirae Petty was raised in Seattle, Washington and played track, softball, and basketball. She played AAU basketball for Seattle Rotary Style from middle school throughout high school. Nirae played varsity basketball for four years in the Seattle Metro League, and was recognized as First Team All-Metro and Defensive Player of the Year her senior year at Rainier Beach High School. She was awarded a full scholarship to attend Eastern Arizona College her freshman year, where she led her team in scoring, assists, steals, and rebounds. She then was awarded a full scholarship to play at Western New Mexico University and played for one year before returning home to focus on finishing school. Nirae is currently a senior at Central Washington University Online pursuing a degree in Law and Justice. She also works as a program manager for the Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle in the housing department. Nirae has experience as an assistant coach for the SYRF AAU program with 4th-6th grade girls. She is extremely excited to be the head coach of the ECBA Swish 8th Grade girls team and looks forward to creating a basketball family at ECBA!
