Carly Fromdahl is originally from Chino, CA and made her way up the PNW by way of hoops. She played Division 1 basketball at Portland State University for two years and Seattle University two years. She played the post position for both teams and was a standout defender. She then continued her passion for the game becoming a graduate assistant for the Seattle U Redhawks, graduating in 2008 with her degree in Business Marketing. Carly started playing basketball entering her freshman year of HS in summer basketball. She was inspired by former teammate and gold medal Olympian, Diana Taurasi to tryout. Just as Diana inspired her, Carly wants to inspire and empower female athletes to be gritty, mentally and physically. She has over 10 years of experience coaching at all levels (Seattle U, Bellevue College, Liberty HS, Team Concept, Friends of Hoop, ECBA, Pinnacle Hoops, Bishop Blanchet HS). Coach Carly specializes in power forward/center skill development and toughness training. Over the last 3 years she has partnered with Pinnacle Hoops Training to deliver some of the best clinics and camps. Her favorite part of the game is playing defense and frustrating her opponents.
